East Coast Tour

The seventh east coast tour covered Canberra, Stanwell Park, Sydney, Newcastle, Bellingen, Mullumbimby, Brisbane as well as newcomer Coffs Harbour in the form of a beautiful rainforest location known as Shangri-la. Thank you to our generous hosts.

Ozotica

Deni Uke Muster 

November 2015

Deniliquin NSW is the home of the iconic Deni Ute Muster, running since 1999 and is now the home of the Deni Uke Muster established in 2013. It has an almost boutique quality because of the limit on numbers.

Healesville Music Festival 

November 2015

Now in it's sixth year, this Yarra Valley festival has extended to a three day event. The opening act on the Friday night was the 16 piece Healesville String Band, a community group funded by a local grant. One of the repertoire highlights was Tubular Kazoos.


Gippsland Uke Muster 

October 2015

Beginning in 2009, this is the longest running ukulele based event in Australia. It is held in the Tyers Hall and is run by GAMC (Gippsland Acostic Music Club) led by Barry Stuckey. If the ukulele doesn't appeal you can go next door and fossick for gems.

East Coast Tour 

September 2015

There were fewer stops and more extended stays on this sixth east coast tour. Extra curricular highlights included the Australian Native Botanical Gardens and the James Turrell Light Exhibition Canberra and a late afternoon rainbow at Collaroy Sydney brought on by unseasonal cold weather. A big thank you to our hosts in Canberra, Stanwell Park, Collaroy and The Entrance.
